About Me
I currently see people both in private practice and as part of the Complex Psychological Interventions team in the local NHS. I am an integrative psychotherapist in my final year of training.
My training has taken place at the Severnside Institute for Psychotherapy (2017-2019) and the Bath Centre for Psychotherapy and Counselling (2019-2026). As part of this training, I've spent two years at the Harbour (a charity specializing in bereavement counselling), two and a half years in the NHS (2024-2026).
I'm registered with the UK Council for Psychotherapy, I'm fully insured, and I receive regular supervision.
I also have a career in teaching and research at the University of Bristol, where I continue to work part-time as a Senior Lecturer. For more than fifteen years I've worked alongside young people as we learn about the human condition and ourselves through philosophy, mythology, literature, and art. Please note that in order to preserve ethical boundaries, I do not work therapeutically with anyone I could also work with at the university.
